The Royal Danish Library has established a national collaboration with ChronosHub who will make the national Journal Guide available to all researchers in Denmark.
It will serve as a vital platform, simplifying the journal selection process for manuscript submissions, ensuring the authors stay compliant with their funders' OA policies, and can benefit from the many agreements between their institution and academic publishers.
A ChronosHub feature will in the future enable all national library consortium member institutions to view their publisher agreements, and access all data about their institutional articles in a consolidated form on the ChronosHub platform.
"Through this collaboration, The Royal Danish Library will now enable institutions subscribing to national open access agreements with information collated in one access point, and provide a united communication platform to researchers about the many agreements," states Michael Svendsen, Head of Department for Research Support at the Royal Danish Library. "This innovative approach will significantly reduce the work associated with data collection and validation and
liberate time for researchers and administrators. Moreover, it will provide valuable data and analytics"
"As a Danish startup, ChronosHub is particularly excited about the collaboration as the national Journal Guide and OA agreement monitoring will benefit everyone in the country. It will enhance the cost-efficiency of Denmark's academic publishing activities and contribute to realizing Denmark's national OA strategy," says Christian Grubak, founder and co-CEO of ChronosHub.
