Central European University (CEU) Press has announced the selection of two new open access books, due for release in July 2022, when they will be freely available to download or read online:
- Under the Radar: Tracking Western Radio Listeners in the Soviet Union, R. Eugene Parta. A study of Alexander II’s police force - key instruments of tsarist power - their role and performance in the mid-nineteenth century and their systemic weaknesses, struggles for reform, and reliance on the military to maintain law and order.
