Brill has announced their partnership with the OA Switchboard, the independent, community-driven intermediary dedicated to streamlining and simplifying the transition to Open Access. The OA Switchboard facilitates the exchange of OA-related publication-level information between publishers, funders, and libraries, enabling them to send, receive and respond to a pre-defined set of standardized messages between them.
Stephanie Veldman, Head of Open Research at Brill, comments: “The OA Switchboard plays a key role in offering automated and scalable reporting to institutions on their Open Access output and metadata. In five years it has established itself as a central hub and widely used tool. We are proud to partner with the OA Switchboard to support Brill’s growth in Open Access models, Transformative Agreements in particular, and deliver real-time publishing information to our customers. Such reporting is invaluable to support libraries in managing and monitoring the results and success of their Transformative Agreements.”
