Bloomsbury Academic is making more than 400 supplementary textbooks available for the first time via the Bloomsbury Collections platform. These titles span a range of 24 subject areas and will be available for library purchase on a model that provides for perpetual access, unlimited concurrent usage, and individual title selection, as with all 14,000 titles currently housed on Collections.
By making these titles available for library purchase, we hope to expand the ways in which our content is accessed within the academic community and that Bloomsbury scholarship is better integrated as a teaching tool, with all the benefits of Bloomsbury Collections, including:
- DRM free access
- Unlimited concurrent access for students
- eBook page numbers match print for easy citation
- Cite, share, and personalize content
- Mobile optimization for a tablet or smartphone
- Download and print chapter PDFs without restriction
- Search full text of titles; filter by date, series or subject
- No hosting fees
The entire list of supplementary textbooks is designed with the student and instructor in mind and include titles from key series such as Writing History, Bloomsbury Classical Languages, and Bloomsbury Revelations and provide broad coverage of subjects like Drama & Performance Studies, Film Theory, World Religions, Constitutional Law, Historiography, and more.
