30 April 2021
Thanks to everyone who attended the conference - this was our first digital only event on this scale it seems from the feedback that most people thought it worthwhile attending. In the end, we had 1,184 delegates from 42 countries - a geographic reach we would never dream of at an in-person event. We also provided a record number of free places this year too, with the added category of unemployed/furloughed/temporary contract which seemed to prove helpful.
We are still getting delegate survey responses in, so if you haven't completed it yet, please do so - all of the comments, positive and critical, are incredibly useful to help us learn and plan other events this year. We will be sending out the exhibitor survey shortly so please do look out for it. I'll write up a more detailed wrap up of the responses and what we've learned in the coming issues of eNews.
Remember, all registered delegates can continue to access the content using your Underline login.
We are working under the assumption that the 2022 conference will be in-person (we are looking at hybrid offerings too) - so please make a note in your diaries - 28-30 March 2022, Glasgow. We are really looking forward to seeing you there.
Our Annual General Meeting is coming up on the 12 May 2021, at 1pm-2pm BST - please do register and hear about our news and plans for the coming year. We would also like to hear your questions and comments - you can table them in advance by emailing me bev@uksg.org.
We are about to release the details of the candidates standing for election as Trustee for UKSG - please do look out for the details. Authorised Representatives in member organisations are eligible to vote and instructions for that will be coming out early next week. The results will be announced at the AGM.
