Graduate research from Lancaster University will now be included in the ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global® (PQDT) database.
Lancaster University has been consistently ranked among the UK’s top institutions – and with a campus in Ghana, a joint institute in China with Beijing Jiaotong University, and a new campus planned in Germany, Lancaster is truly a global research institution. The PQDT database now includes the full text of Lancaster University graduate students’ research theses.
“I am delighted that Lancaster University Library has joined ProQuest’s globally recognized PQDT collection,” said Andrew Barker, Director of Library Services and Learning Development at Lancaster University. “Transformative research, and the dissemination of new knowledge lies at the heart of our endeavors. Contributing our research to PQDT will strengthen its visibility and will support Lancaster University’s vision to be a globally significant university.”
“We are honored to welcome Lancaster University to the community of global research institutions who already include their graduate research in PQDT,” said Angela D’Agostino, Vice President of Product Management at ProQuest. “We look forward to a long and fruitful partnership with the university, and to making this crucial information available to scholars at every stage of their academic career.”
