Australia’s Southern Cross University (SCU) has launched its online Researcher Profiles, powered by the Ex Libris Esploro™ research information management solution. The Researcher Profiles pages are part of SCU’s Esploro-based Research Portal, which showcases research carried out at Southern Cross University and provides access to scholarly outputs.
University of North Carolina Charlotte (UNC Charlotte) has joined the early adopter program of the Ex Libris Rapido™ resource sharing solution. As a founding member of the Rapido early adopter program, UNC Charlotte’s J. Murrey Atkins Library will help shape the way in which the Rapido solution evolves and interoperates with the library ecosystem. Through its participation in the program, the university will gain an even greater understanding of how to maximize its investments in those systems.
Gettysburg College’s Musselman Library has elected to become an early adopter of the Ex Libris Rapido™ resource sharing solution, becoming part of the growing Rapido community. The new, cloud-based Rapido services will modernize the patron and staff experience and deliver easier, streamlined workflows for managing resource sharing requests.
The University of Waikato, located in Hamilton, New Zealand, has launched its WaikatoUni mobile app based on the Ex Libris campusM™ platform. “Feedback gathered in student forums was clear—students wanted a mobile app to make their campus life easier, especially an app that they could use on the device that they are most accustomed to,” said University of Waikato Director of Student Services, Mike Calvert.
