Accucoms, the specialist in global sales and marketing for publishers and societies, recently added the American Physiological Society (APS), The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), Duke University Press, and the University of Chicago Press to its portfolio of distinguished publishers for sales, marketing, and customer service representation in China.
In addition to its expansion in China, Accucoms extended its coverage with Duke University Press in South Korea, and AIAA in South East Asia and Japan.
Simon Boisseau, Managing Director at Accucoms, said, "During these uncertain times, we are pleased to expand the number of publishers we are working with in China. Accucoms is happy to provide publishers with a fresh sales approach in such a dynamic evolving market. Our ethos has always been to put the publisher first, and we look forward to growing sales for each of our clients, while at the same time connecting them to a new audience of researchers and academics."
"We are pleased to partner with Accucoms to help promote University of Chicago Press journals in China," said Chaz Oreshkov, Licensing and Sales Manager. "Accucoms has already shown their capabilities in navigating the serials market in China, and we look forward to seeing how they can help the Press grow its institutional sales and engage with end-users."
Michele Dominiak, Senior Manager Publications Operations and Web Publishing at AIAA commented; "AIAA has a longstanding partnership with Accucoms, and it was naturally an easy decision to expand our agreement to include China. We feel there is good potential for growth in the region and trust the Accucoms team to help deliver results!"
Stacey Burke, Director of Publications Marketing and Sales at APS further commented; "When the American Physiological Society was looking to expand our customer base in China, we needed someone with regional knowledge. Accucoms has been an effective solution for APS to grow our "virtual sales team" with a local representative to guide us on what customer needs and expects. With a region like China, this local expertise is essential to expand our footprint effectively for both the Society and the customer."
