SN Comprehensive Clinical Medicine
The first articles have been published online in a new Springer Nature journal that encompasses all aspects of clinical medicine. SN Comprehensive Clinical Medicine was launched in July 2018. The Editor in Chief is Massoud Mahmoudi, Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of California. Articles are currently accessible online; the first full issue will be published online in January 2019.
SN Comprehensive Clinical Medicine welcomes submissions from a wide range of medical fields, from basic and translational research, and clinical studies and methods, to healthcare delivery and curriculum development. The journal publishes original research, reviews, brief communications, and case reports.
The journal also has section editors covering the sub-fields of imaging, medicine, and surgery. These editors are clinical experts in their respective fields, and manage papers submitted in each corresponding category.
SN Applied Sciences
Articles addressing advances in technology, machine learning, waste water treatment and remote sensing have been published in SN Applied Sciences in the last few weeks. The journal was set up in July 2018 and has already received over 1000 submissions. Five in-house managing editors are coordinating the submission, peer review and publication process. The first issue will be published in January 2019.
All articles published in the journal will be free to access during the first two years of publication. Authors are also able to choose whether to publish their research at no cost, for readers to access via a subscription, or through an article processing charge (APC) so that their article is available to everyone permanently as open access.
