2 October 2018
The next free UKSG webinar – Accessibility aspirations: the outcomes of the Aspire audit of e-book accessibility statements and their implications for libraries – will take place on Thursday 18 October 2018 at 1400 BST.
In July/August 2018, 57 organisations took part in a crowd sourced audit of publishers and platform providers. This webinar will present some of the key findings of the audit and explore both the implications and the opportunities for libraries. The speaker will be Alistair McNaught, who works as a Jisc subject specialist in accessibility.
Registration
UKSG webinars are open to members and non-members of UKSG alike. The session will last 45 minutes, including questions and answers (up to 60 minutes maximum if there is sufficient demand for an extended Q&A), and is recorded, so those unable to make the live webinar should register as normal, and a link to the recording will be sent as soon as it is available. Anyone with particular accessibility needs should contact maria@uksg.org.
