A Day in the Life of an E-Journal Librarian
This one-day seminar will highlight the challenges posed by electronic journals and the new skills required to deal with them. It will also cover related areas in serials management such as budgetary control, purchasing decisions and collection management, as well as considering the user perspective and the role of publishers, agents and aggregators. Four speakers will provide practical insights into the diverse and demanding range of activities associated with the management of electronic journal collections in the library environment.
