UKSG Annual Conference 2024

The next UKSG annual conference will be held in person in Glasgow, UK on 8-10 April 2024.

About the conference
The conference attracts delegates from across the global knowledge community, including librarians, publishers and intermediaries. It provides a much-respected forum for discussing trends, showcasing initiatives, finding out about current practice across sectors, and connecting with other professionals.

UKSG pays for all conference places for speakers, and travel and accommodation for plenary speakers. We also cover the travel and accommodation costs for the first breakout and workshop leaders. Lightning talk speakers receive a free place.

Plenary

Breakout

Breakouts are around 50 minutes, including 15 minutes Q&A.

Workshop

This is a new idea for our annual conference. We envisage workshops to be two hours and an in-depth look at a single topic.

Lightning talk

Lightning talks are 7-10 minutes long on a single topic.
