The Open Journals Collective opens applications for new publishing partners

15 April 2026

The Open Journals Collective (OJC) has opened applications for new publishing partners to join.  The OJC was formally launched in January this year and supports diamond open access journal publishing through its library membership model, which now has 32 library members worldwide.  The OJC’s publishing partners play a central role in hosting, managing and developing journals within the collective while contributing to a shared infrastructure and governance model.

The OJC has opened applications for new partners who are committed to equitable, sustainable, and community-governed scholarly publishing, with a particular focus on diamond open-access models.  Successful applicants will become part of the OJC community, with opportunities to be part of its collaborative governance and to apply to bring diamond open access journals into OJC’s collections through future application rounds.

Publishing organisations that would like to apply to join should complete the following form, which closes at 23:59 BST on Friday 15th May: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe6l4k0bINdhNnqabHrgLCCdEPqVbUW-QUHGQNfgMguHLcsyg/viewform?usp=header
