Arc Humanities Press (ARC) has selected Liverpool Distribution Services (LDS) as its exclusive print distribution-only partner for the UK and Europe, and non-exclusive partner for the rest of the world outside of the Americas. ARC is the sixth scholarly publisher to join LDS since its launch in September 2024, sitting alongside leading university presses in the humanities and social sciences.
ARC Director, Simon Forde, commented: “We worked very successively for the first ten years of our existence with Amsterdam UP and now look forward to a similar period of growth alongside Liverpool. We have managed to develop a clear ‘edgy’ brand identity in a short time, which we now hope to expand.”
LUP Chief Executive, Anthony Cond, added: “Arc Humanities Press has emerged as a leading publisher of medieval studies over the past decade, drawing upon a wealth of university press and scholar-led press experience. Our mission-driven collaboration will further strengthen their presence in the field.”
The new agreement commences 1 October 2025, and orders will be supplied by LUP’s fulfilment partner, Wiley Distribution.
