Britain’s prestigious learned society, the Royal Society, is now supplying full-text articles to Jisc’s Publications Router service, which places them automatically onto their authors’ UK institutional repositories.
This new content feed on Publications Router complements the recent “Read & Publish” agreement negotiated on behalf of UK institutions by Jisc Collections. The Royal Society will supply open access articles, including all those made open access under the agreement, to the Router. The arrangement will also include articles published in their wholly-OA journals. This means that most UK-authored papers published with the Royal Society will be available for matching and automatic upload onto the repositories of institutions that use the Router service.
