EBSCO Information Services has announced two strategic partnerships to invest in open research and ensure reproducibility. EBSCO is forming partnerships with:

  • Code Ocean, to provide greater centralisation, collaboration and reproducibility of scholarly research. Code Ocean is a cloud-based computational reproducibility platform that provides researchers and developers an easy way to create, share, discover, and run scientific code. The partnership will extend the reach of services that connect core analysis and underlying research to the published article.
  • protocols.io, to foster a research workflow that is open, connected, reproducible and interoperable. The protocols.io platform is an open access service for academic and industry researchers to record and share detailed up to date methods for research.

EBSCO has also announced a new integration with Google for Education. As a Google Cloud partner, EBSCO will combine its educational content with the technology of Google for Education.
