The Philosopher, the official journal of the Philosophical Society of England, has launched a digital archive in partnership with Exact Editions. Every page, feature and article is now fully searchable and available for cross-platform browsing on web, iOS and Android devices.
First founded in 1923, The Philosopher is built around the belief that anything can be made clear to the interested reader. Articles are considered without discrimination as to subject matter or author; the only criteria being that they must be philosophical in method and expressed in clear, understandable language. Its pages have hosted many famous contributors over the years, including John Dewey, G K Chesterton and Mary Midgley.
The Philosopher is available in the Exact Editions institutional and individual shops.
