The Association of Learned & Professional Society Publishers has announced the shortlist for the ALPSP Awards for Innovation in Publishing 2019:
- BMJ Best Practice from BMJ with 67 Bricks
- preLights from the Company of Biologists
- Ripeta
- scite.ai from Scite
Chair of the judging panel, David Sommer, said, “Once again, we were very pleased to receive submissions from a range of organisations and areas. Publishing is all about communication and this year’s finalists represent different stages of the workflow from pre-publication to the dissemination and practical application of knowledge. We believe that each has exciting potential to bring about positive change and practical benefits for their sector.”
The finalists will be given the opportunity to showcase their products in a rapid fire session at the ALPSP Conference on Wednesday 11 September. The winners will then be announced at the Conference Awards Dinner on Thursday 12 September.
