Call for speakers

Trust and integrity are critical for librarians, publishers, digital services providers, and anyone working in scholarly communications.

With disrupting forces like AI, misinformation, structural change, or evolving research cultures though, how can we ensure integrity is still in place and position ourselves as trusted partners? 

In this event series, we will hear from voices across the sector about identifying risks, forming strategies, and finding solutions to challenges around trust. 

Potential themes include:

• Research Integrity
• AI 
• Information and digital literacy
• Reading lists and open educational resources
• Open research 
• Working together 
• Misinformation and disinformation
• Critical thinking
• Rigour and processes
• Research data management
• Responsible sources of information

We are looking for contributions that challenge current thinking, present case studies, or outline visions or strategies for the future. By sharing your work, you will have the chance to engage with an international audience of information professionals, shape critical sector discussions, and profile your organisation’s innovations. Delegates will leave with actionable insights and practical tools to build trust and integrity within their own practice.

All accepted speakers will receive a complementary pass for the whole Conference.

How to submit

Please submit a suggested title and short description here. 

The conference is planned to run for four days. Sessions will take place during afternoons (UK time) covering two topics each day, and we will ensure to build in appropriate breaks. We are open to adapting this proposed format depending on the submissions that are received.  The conference is scheduled to take place over the week commencing 9th November and we would appreciate that you also let us know your availability in the submission form as requested. 

Deadline for submissions

The deadline for submissions is Friday 11 September. However, we encourage early submissions wherever possible. Our Programme Committee will review all proposals and develop the conference programme and we will get in touch with you to confirm.
