UKSG E-Resources for Further Education: London

Andrew Barker has been Director of Library Services & Learning Development at Lancaster University since September 2019. Prior to that he held a number of senior roles within diverse university libraries, including the University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University. Andrew was Chair of UKSG between 2018 and 2022, and has been Vice-Chair of SCONUL since December 2021.

Laura Wong is product manager for two COUNTER-based usage statistics services (JUSP and IRUS) and works within the Jisc licensing intelligence and analytics team. Laura has worked at Jisc for 8 years and previously worked in academic libraries in e-resource roles.

Tracey Totty graduated with an MA Information and Library Management in 1999 from University of Northumbria. She became a Chartered Librarian in 2013 and has worked in academic libraries for over 15 years. Tracey is the Library Services Manager at Middlesbrough College responsible for the running and development of the Learning Resources Centre, which is increasingly moving to digital, social and cloud-based media.

A librarian with a range of experience working in libraries from the small to the large across a variety of library sectors including Higher Education, the public sector and Further Education. Adam has worked extensively across libraries in Hampshire where he completed an MA in Information Studies with the support of Hampshire Libraries. After 13 years working in public libraries at the start of his career, concluding at Fareham Library, Adam has since worked at the University of Surrey Library and Highbury College, Portsmouth, before moving to his present role as Library Manager at Barton Peveril Sixth Form College in Eastleigh, Hampshire.

Returned to education having worked in the mining industry for twenty years.  Following redundancy in 1993 enrolled on an extended University of Sheffield BA Hons Degree (History & Politics) at Barnsley College.  Whilst studying worked part time in the College Libraries culminating, on graduation, in a full time Library Assistant position.  Gained an MSc in Information Studies at Leeds Metropolitan (now Leeds Beckett) University shortly after becoming the Librarian at Dearne Valley College (South Yorkshire).  Moved to Wakefield College in the summer of 2007.  Current role includes acquisitions, cataloguing, VLE management and information skills instruction. Currently sit on the UKSG Outreach & Engagement Committee as FE representative.  Have also sat on the JISC Ebooks in FE procurement advisory panel and am a founding member of the Northern Digital Resources Group.
