Kinokuniya has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with BioOne for the institutional sales of all BioOne products in Japan, effective from June 2025. Under this agreement, Kinokuniya will serve as the exclusive distributor for BioOne’s products in the Japanese market.
BioOne is a nonprofit publisher and the leading aggregator in the biological, ecological, and environmental sciences, offering content from over 150 publishers. This partnership with Kinokuniya aims to leverage BioOne’s strengths to further support the advancement of academic research in Japan. Through this collaboration, the two companies will utilize Kinokuniya’s nationwide sales network to enhance marketing, customer service, and distribution, thereby promoting BioOne’s products in Japan.
