The legend that is Lorraine Estelle is stepping down from her Insights co-Editor role – here is what she had to say about the change and why you should consider applying:
After an incredibly rewarding time as co-editor of Insights, I will be stepping down this year—opening up an exciting opportunity for someone new to take on this role!
Being co-editor is both a privilege and a pleasure. You’ll work alongside the brilliant Steve Sharp, collaborate with a dynamic and creative editorial board, and be supported by an exceptionally efficient Publications Associate. Plus, you’ll have the chance to engage with innovative scholarship and stay at the forefront of developments in the scholarly communications community.
Of course, this role comes with responsibilities. As co-editor, you’ll share the desk review process with Steve, commission articles, assign peer reviewers, and help maintain the high editorial standards that make Insights such a respected journal.
If you’re interested in applying, please send a brief statement explaining why you’d like to take on this opportunity, along with your CV and publication history using the form below. If you have any questions or would like to discuss your application before submitting it, please contact bev@uksg.org.
