Thank you for agreeing to take part in the seminar, to make everything as simple as possible here are a number of things to action or think about prior to the session. 

 

Actions in order of importance: 

1. Please complete your speaker form here as soon as you are able, if you have a co-speaker please also ensure they complete the same form. 

2. Please complete the doodle to schedule the technical dry run here.  Please have a some slides ready to share at the dry run – it doesn’t have to be the slides you will share on the day just something to test with. 

3. Pre-event checks:

  • Check the systems requirements for Go to Webinar our webinar application here
  • Run a systems check here
    • We cannot anticipate all browsers and firewalls, some of which may prevent access to the webinars or web cams. Please speak to your IT department if you think an institutional firewall may affect your participation.  

4. We very much encourage speakers to use interactive tools as part of their session.  

  • You can use inbuilt basic polling within go to webinar which we can set up for you please be mindful of the limitations.
    • Go to webinar can support questions with up to 128 characters, in addition it can support 5 different answers up to 60 characters. (You can also select if you want the multiple choice with multiple answers or just one answer to be selected).
    • If you want some more advanced polling options we can suggest menti.com which is free to sign up 
  • Video’s / Audio clips
    • We advise these to be over 720p resolution and no larger than 4GB
    • It will be necessary to have these in advance to test. 
  • If you have any url’s you would like to pass out to delegates during the session, pre event or post event reading, this is also possible just let us know as soon as possible.
