The Transfer Code of Practice

The UKSG Transfer Working Group is pleased to release the Code of Practice Version 2.0.

• The Supplementary Information document provides background information and further explanation of the Code of Practice but it is NOT part of the Code. It is provided for information purposes only and will be updated on a regular basis.
• The Consolidated Data Excel spreadsheet (XLS) is a template that may be useful for publishers when exchanging data as part of a transfer. This document is also provided for information only and is not part of the Code. 

Endorsing the code

It's very easy for publishers to sign up to endorse the Code. Please send an e-mail to Alison Mitchell, Transfer Working Group co-Chair stating that your organisation endorses the Code. Endorsing publishers are also strongly encouraged to join the Transfer notifications email list, and to send announcements of all journal transfers using the Journal Transfer Submission Form.
