In partnership with Knowledge Unlatched (KU), EDP Sciences will be asking libraries and institutions currently subscribing to any of the six journals to renew for 2021 and beyond on a S2O basis, thus contributing to maintaining these journals OA in years to come.
This new body will meet annually in a roundtable workshop format with members drawn from institutions, funders, policy makers and research-driven organizations and advise on research culture and how research contributes to a better and more equitable society.

Library news

The National Institute of Informatics (NII) in Japan has selected OCLC to replace NII's current library metadata infrastructure. OCLC will provide a cataloging environment for more than 1,300 libraries in Japan with a union catalog that replaces the existing system, NACSIS-CAT/ILL.
