Knowledge Unlatched (KU) has announced that the Language Science Press (LSP) initiative has reached its crowdfunding goal and will be renewed for three more years. LSP first launched in 2017 as a three-year pilot and was met with great enthusiasm by linguists worldwide.
Researchers in eligible counties will be able to publish an uncapped number of Open Access research articles without paying an article processing charge (APC) and they will also benefit from free and unlimited access to the journals and their archives dating back to 1853.
KU is continuing the thematic approach to pledging in 2021, which means pledging libraries can select the appropriate collections based on their preferred subject areas (e.g., History, Politics, Communications, Linguistics, STEM).
