FE SUPPORTING THE TRANSITION TO HE

Many thanks to our generous event sponsors:

The theme of this year’s event for the FE community, FE supporting the transition to HE, will look at the development of services and resources to support students who are either progressing into higher education or pursuing higher education qualifications within a college setting.  The event is aimed at learning resources managers and librarians in further education colleges and sixth form colleges.

Find out how learning resources managers and librarians are:
•    exploring innovative approaches to developing information literacy and digital literacy skills
•    using collaboration between colleges and university/research libraries to prepare students for HE
•    positioning the library within the HE curriculum and collaborating with teachers
•    improving opportunities for resource discovery
•    working with Jisc to provide content for HE learning and teaching.

The day will provide delegates with the opportunity to join in the discussions, develop learning opportunities, share tips, techniques and strategies, and leave inspired with practical ideas that can be integrated into their own service and environment.

This event is FREE to FE institution delegates and includes refreshments and lunch, as well as a PRIZE DRAW for two fully expensed places at the UKSG 2018 Annual Conference in Glasgow next April!
