This one-day seminar will highlight the issues and challenges posed by the increasingly diverse and extensive range of e-resources managed by libraries and will also explore the skills needed to manage them effectively. It will also cover related topics such as budgetary control, purchasing decisions and collection management, as well as considering the user perspective and the role of publishers, traditional library vendors and aggregators. Four speakers will provide practical insights into the diverse and demanding range of activities associated with the management of electronic collections in the library environment.
